NCJPA Monthly Virtual Speed Puzzling Competition

Join puzzlers from across North Carolina for our monthly virtual puzzling competition! 🧩 πŸ’»

When: Each month on the third Wednesday

Where: Online over Zoom

What: A 500-piece jigsaw puzzle competition open to residents of North Carolina

No experience necessary. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned competitor, the virtual competition is a low-pressure way to try speed puzzling and connect with puzzlers statewide.

How It Works

  • Sign up in advance! Registration closes two weeks before the competition date to allow time for ordering and shipping puzzles

  • Your puzzle will be shipped to you - DO NOT OPEN UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO ON THE CALL

  • You can choose to compete as a solo, pair, or team of 3-4 people; price and puzzle are the same regardless of which you choose

  • You will need to be able to join a Zoom call with camera on so that the host can clearly see your puzzle throughout the competition

Offline Entry

If you are unable to join the live competition, you can submit an offline entry:

  • Start a timer when you begin the puzzle

  • Photograph the finished puzzle alongside the timer to show your finish time

  • Submit your entry using the offline submission form

  • Entries must be submitted by midnight the night before the live event to be eligible for prizes and to be included in the official results

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned speed puzzler, we welcome you! No prior speed puzzling experience necessary; this is a great opportunity to try speed puzzling in a supportive and low-pressure environment.
